Important !!!!:
----------------
1. Voltage stabiliser 78L05 and 78L08 should be used as they have
   100mA protection (not 7805, 7808 or others).
2. For PIC16C62 (72) 28 PIN socket should be used.

Please, follow the next steps!!!:
--------------------------------
1. Place all elements on PCB (except PIC16C62)

2. Please, check if everything is connected properly.

3. Connect PICALL hardware (without PIC16C62A) to PC's printer Port
direct (without switch box) with direct 25M/25M cable
    (without power connected).

4. Run PICALL hardware test program TEST-ALL.EXE.
a) If everythink is OK you should get CableTest without errors
(communication test will show you errors).
b) If TEST-ALL can't find PICALL hardware automaticly you shoud try:
    TEST-ALL [LPT number]
c) If the cable test is not OK then try to change R2 and R6 from 120k
to 22K (10k) and cerfully test the connection to PCs LPT again.

5. Disconnect PICALL from PC.

6. After step 4 is OK, connect PICALL to the voltage 16-30V DC or 12-18V AC.

7. Check the VCC voltage is 5V and VPP is 13V.

8. Disconnect PICALL from the voltage.

9. Insert PIC16C62 into the socket.

10. Connect the PICALL to PCs LPT port via direct 25M/25M cable.

11. Turn on the power for PICALL and run PICALL hardware test program
    TEST-ALL.EXE
a) In problem case please run TEST-ALL in DOS mode.

12 Run also shortcircuits test <H>
If there is a problem, test program shows which PIN(s) are connected to
ground (soldering problem) or with another PIN. Check this PIN (look
at the hardware scheme and follow the lines on the PCB...)

13. If the test program returns no errors, you are ready to use PICALL.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
* In some cases there can be a problem by programming PIC16C5x. In this
case just remove R8 or replace it with 10k. It has no function at the
current state of programming software; it was added in hardware
  development state for future functions.

  PIC14000 problem
If you have problems by programming the PIC14000, then you should
replace "jumper" which connects TEXTOOLS PINs 12 and 33 with
  the resistor 100R (Ohms).
